“A cozy little cabin in the Adirondacks! It was a great base for our explorations, and a lovely place to rest when we weren't adventuring! The wooden ADK chairs on the sunny porch and relaxing hammock were favorite spots! Touches like having games, walking sticks, and even a guitar available made it feel like home. Our host was responsive with communication, and all the information and suggestions throughout were very thoughtful. Will keep this on our list of favorites!”

“The house was beautiful and very cozy! The backyard had plenty of amenities and we enjoyed nights by the fire pit. The hosts, Bonnie & Steve, were incredibly gracious and friendly throughout the visit. They were excellent communicators and enhanced our experience. “The cabin wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was mud and dirt on the futon and the floors and the vacuum that was there did not work well. Also the shower didn’t drain well because the pitch of the floor slanted the wrong way so you stood in water the whole time while showering. But other than that it was okay.”

Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. “Small commode, very thin tp. No linens for extra sleeping areas in the loft or pull out couch. No backup for power outages, we experienced this. We had a good stay otherwise & overall enjoyed the rustic cabin.”

“Very clean, private setting. Pet friendly. Enjoyed the pool and front porch! Beds were very comfortable, but the first-floor bed with the Jack and Jill ensuite was too high for seniors to climb into. I traveled with my 87-year-old mother and 94-year-old aunt; they had to use the upstairs bedroom with the lower queen mattress. Great place for a larger party.”

“The cabin is exactly as advertised. We love the natural wood and adorable decor. The kitchen and laundry are well equipped and convenient. The bed and bath linens are good quality. It was everything we were looking forward to, and the relaxing flow of the Sacandaga River was exactly what we needed to unwind from work and other stress. “The host always responded quickly with questions we had. The house was clean and spacious, accommodating our family of 13. The grandkids enjoyed the game room and everyone enjoyed pickle ball in the garage. It was a peaceful, tranquil spot. “The house was perfect for our girls trip getaway. The number of beds/bedrooms, to the newly renovated beautiful bathrooms and the fully functioning beautiful kitchen it was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the added touches like the heated towel wracks and the fancy toilets as well as the pull down projector screen for a movie. We used all the amenities the house had to offer. The hot tub was clean and hot and the easy check out was just what we needed for a fun weekend with friends.……

“We had a wonderful family vacation with our 2 children. They were very accommodating. The house was clean and well stocked with anything you could need. The owner checked in with us every other day, they live nearby. There’s a public beach spot right next to the house but you do have your own private lake access. It was beautiful and lots of memories made. Will be looking to book again.”

“The cabin is located in a very quiet area. We enjoyed our solitude surrounded by nature. The highlight was the bird and frog songs, especially at dusk. Sitting on the deck, we could hear 4 types of frogs (tree frog, green frog, bull frog and peeper) plus several birds. It was very enjoyable. The walk from the cabin along the road up north is beautiful. There were tons of bright orange salamanders at dusk. We also enjoyed hiking several trails nearby (in Ferris Lake Wilderness Area).
